Ranjarma-Xelageer
The protagonist. A young Hobbit from the academic city of Yelsamgosc.
Due to the loss of her parents in the last war, she tends to be somewhat harsh in her actions.
Under the pretext of [I must become a great mage capable of protecting Yelsamgosc alone], she travels to Egrecerhad and asks to be trained by Laduiagoth, but…

Laduiagoth
A freakish elder of the Western Elves. Known as the unparalleled strongest mage. Also known as 'Laduiagoth, more precious than gold'.
Contrary to zir glorious and brave nickname, ze is incredibly gloomy, has no desire for material things.
Since the scheming chamberlains took away zir choice to refuse, ze had no choice but to accept Ranjarma.

Luhzelluand
A gentle elder of the Western Elves, the mate of Laduiagoth.
She is knowledgeable about plants, which is why she is also known as the 'Queen of the Blossoms'.
Behind her warm smile, she hides a very suspicious face, working day and night to develop a powerful poison.
She gladly welcomes Ranjarma, but what is her true purpose?

Zizval-Hadd
A young nomadic hobbit. A spearman who wields a spear whose tip is made from manna ore.
He works as a bouncer, accompanying caravans to various places.
He has a blunt personality, and his actions tend to be misleading.
He is said to have a strange bond with the Western elves.

Mesakyne
A mid-generation eastern elf sent as an envoy by Queen Iguelizand.
She is known as a battle maniac, and her actions are unpredictable.
She heads to the Egrecerhad palace with Ranjarma and others, carrying a letter addressed to Laduiagoth, but they end up getting into trouble on the way…

Yordom
A young-generation northern elf sent as a messenger by Queen Yemuriscend.
He is quite timid, hates hunting, and is a strict vegetarian, and is just a farmer.
It was supposed to be a simple mission to deliver a letter to Laduiagoth and then return home, but he too ends up getting into trouble.

Geltdalath
An oldest generation western elf.
He specialises in wind magic, and his nickname is 'the Whirlwind'.
In the past, he was active as a messenger, making use of his speed, which comes from wind magic.
He is said to have spent his days running around from place to place.
Currently living in seclusion on Egrecerhad with Laduiagoth and others.

Hezatwand
An oldest generation western elf.
She is a master of classical hunting techniques using bows and arrows and traps, and is said to be second to none in that field.
She is currently the chef at the Palace, but her skills are terrible.
She has no interest in food to begin with, and doesn't seem to have any aspirations to improve.

Deelan
A young-generation western elf, daughter of Hezatwand.
She was once a member of the Open-fog company, but is no longer with the company.
She is now in charge of the ferry that connects Egrecerhad with the mainland.
She says that there is a serious reason why traffic to and from the island must be strictly controlled.

Frhoidhanath
An oldest generation western elf.
On the surface, he is just a tailor, but his true identity is Laduiagoth's representative.
He is retired now, but he used to serve as Chancellor of West.
Now he is just a calm gentleman, but long ago he was feared by other races as an extremely cold-blooded monster.

Huafaszal
A youngster who lives in Olfkinanf, the only remaining village on Egrecerhad Island.
He has a curious personality and is interested in anything that comes from the outside.
He visits the port every time a ferry from the continent arrives on the island.

'Goddess'
A mysterious being. She was worshipped as a goddess by the nomadic hobbits.
Her characteristics led people to assume she was an ancients, but she says not.
Her body was affected by a phenomenon called manna coma, and she remained asleep as if in stillness for a long time.

Halisajazd
An oldest generation western elf.
She runs a tailor shop with her husband, Frhoidhanath.
She is one of the most outstanding mages, and is known as a master of defensive magic.
At first glance, she appears to be a generous lady, but what is her true identity and true feelings…?

Pahnuy
A talking cat? It has large white wings on its back.
It is a very noisy cat that keeps meowing with a haughty attitude.
At some point, it started living in the palace, where it has remained ever since.
According to one theory, Pahnuy is older than the Beginning four elves.

Gathelzence
The great elder of the Southern Elves and the king of all of Yelekedis.
He is also known as 'Gathelzence, more august than the applause'.
He is the oldest and first Elf, and was the arrow that was sent to the new world after the fall of the ancients.
Born with impeccable dignity, he is the person who was the greatest architect of Yelekedis as it is today.

Yemuriscend
A courageous elder of the Northern Elves. Also known as 'Yemuriscend, more harsh than the blizzard'.
She holds authority second only to Great King Gathelzence, and it is said that nothing can proceed without her permission.
Also, one of her roles is to mediate between the west and south, where there is constant conflict.

Iguelizand
A benign elder of the Eastern Elves. A prophet known for making predictions that never fail. Also known as 'Iguelizand, more gentle than the evening-calm'.
She always has a gentle smile on her face, and it's rare for her expression to change.
According to a rumour, only Shilegizand can braek her smile.

Gezulzence
A mid-generation southern elf, son of Gathelzence. Although he is of noble state, he leads his own merchant group, the Open-fog company, and sails across the seas.
He is the most famous southern elf, but he is not exactly a typical southern elf.

Shilegizand
A mid-generation eastern elf, daughter of Iguelizand. She has nicknames such as 'Stormbringer' and 'Wanderer of Yelekedis'.
Shilegizand is like the wind, never staying in one place for long.
She goes where she is called, and wherever her heart takes her.

Luuzak
The current chair of the Yelsamgosc's council, and also serves as president.
Luuzak was Ranjarma's foster parent and the teacher who taught her the basics of magic.
While luuzak is well-liked by the citizens as a wise and steady leader, is not well-liked by outsiders.
